Introduction: Psalms 91
When I read through this Psalm, it gives me a sense of protection and security. It is loaded with promises from God: He promises to watch us, to guard us, and to fight for us. There isn’t a weapon that could form, that could EVER prosper against us. The God of War- Jehovah Gibbor, Yahweh Sabbath- the Lord of Host (a.k.a The Lord of Armies) is the one who personally fights for you and sees to it that you win. He will be your victory banner. The Lord will guard and protect His children, you included. He always has, and He always will.
“If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet.” Psalm 91:9-12
This last verse there calls us to step into action and be bold and courageous. God isn’t looking for punks. He’s looking for fighters, people who will declare the word of God and believe it with everything in them. God is looking for a tough crowd to buck back against the enemy and stand up to his schemes and plans. Another verse says “the Kingdom suffers violence, and the violent TAKE IT BY FORCE.” (Matthew 11:12) What do you need to take back by force? Your faith? Your boldness? Your voice? Your hope? Your future? Your joy? Your peace? Your prosperity? Your health? Your sanity? Your mind? Your family?
WHAT HAS THE ENEMY STOLEN FROM YOU?
The thing about being a Christian, is people think this is a passive role. They give their lives to Jesus and A.) They continue to live the same, just adding a few Sunday morning church sessions or B.) Jesus takes the wheel and handles all the heavy loads and they do what they can to survive the ride. The bible says in Romans 8:17 that we are joint heirs with Christ. Jesus had a walk, and so do we. He has a part, and now we do too. Step into your role, get into position, and begin to walk this thing on out. God called you for a purpose.

This will be the most beautiful journey in your life, and I guarantee you will have the most special time… Allow Me To Introduce: The Father. xo

Lord, I give you praise and honor, because you are the only one worthy of such. I thank you for your Spirit and the opportunity to represent you well to your other children, who you love so much. It is my honor to use my life to bring people to you. Use me in whatever way you see fit, and if I step out of line and no longer represent you well, correct me and align me back to what’s right. Jesus, I ask that through me, you are able to reach and save more souls. The people who my pastor may never meet, let me be the one who introduces them back to you. You know us. You formed us in our Mother’s womb. You know how many hairs are on our heads, and you know our innermost thoughts. You created us and all you ever wanted was to live amongst us and do good and mighty works for us. Lord, bless the person reading this. Touch them now and allow them to feel your presence. Where darkness may have seeped into their souls, minds, and hearts flood it with light. Drive out the darkness. Pour out love and compassion now. May peace be our portion. Allow us to receive your forgiveness by faith and really believe it. Lord Jesus, answer prayers and do what only you can do. I trust you. In your mighty name I pray, Amen.
